For the Cool Science course, part of the MSc Media Technology graduate program, I wrote five columns on various scientific topics. These columns aim to make a complicated subject accessible to the public by connecting it to our daily life. As final project, I edited a classic Mr. Bean video in order to provide some insight on the problems faced with quantum mechanics.

A short movie about the uncertainty principle by Heisenberg, which states that the position and the speed of an object cannot both be measured exactly, at the same time. Scientists try as hard as they can to get a glimpse of the chaotic disorder in the quantum world, but as soon as they take a peek, the minuscule particles behave as if nothing special is going on… Original video footage taken from Mr. Bean Goes To Town – starring Rowan Atkinson.
